Why'd I make this?

I initially learned of the Web revival through my boyfriend Kepler (Psst, go check him out here, he's super cool) and fell in love with the idea of preserving the old style of the internet. Of finding comfort in the connections we make with others instead of relying on conglomerates forcefeeding us "for you" slurry and using algorithms and AI to keep us clicking. Theres something pure about people crafting their own little slice of the internet. Hand crafting their own little mark on the world in their own way.

What's your deal?

I'm a 30 year old systems tester based in the United Kingdom. I'm a big fan of gaming in all forms, though primarily card/strategy games. I got my first taste of the world wide web at the turn of the millenium, visiting the cartoon network website on my 56k Modem, and the shriek of the dial up as I connected wasn't enough to scare me away. 26 years later and here I am. I went to university for games design, but never finished. Someday I'd like to try my hand at it again.
